Target Compound Analyses Print E-mail

Metabolomics or biochemical profiling are examples of top-down analyses - i.e., those where you do not know in advance what you will see. If however, you know what you wish to see, you would use a bottom-up, or targeted approach.

We use this approach to both supplement the metabolomics/biochemical profiling approach described above, and as time permits, as a stand-alone service more typical of an analytical chemistry lab.

Analyses we have performed include:

Fungal and bacterial toxins, sugars, sugar alcohols, amino acids, thiols, nucleotides, nucleosides, NAD(P) co-factors, coenzyme A derivatives, glucosinolates, plant hormones, peptide hormones, fatty acids, sterols, vitamins, flavonoids, terpenoids,  lipids, neurotransmitters, human metabolites of pharmaceuticals and pesticides...... the list goes on.

By appointment only. Contact Norm
